Windsor Palms Home Upgrades

I have decided that 2008 is the year for spending money on my Windsor Palms home. It is already one of the most popular homes on Windsor Palms and sometimes it is tempting just to sit back and think that this is enough. Well the reason that I bought a home on Windsor Palms resort in the first place was because I wanted to be able to say it was the very best resort available. I bought a home on the conservation area because I wanted the best view. And I upgraded all the furniture.

But time passes and you have to keep up with the maintenance of your vacation home. So this is why I decided to finally put in the game room that I had wanted to for a while, and also why I decided it was time for the carpets to go! When the Windsor Palms homes were built most people opted for the standard builder grade carpet – or as I would describe it ‘cheap carpet’! So I decided that the time had come to replace it all.

I did some research about the type of carpet I needed as I wanted to see if there were any ‘greener’ alternatives. Well I am pleased to say that I found one. The carpet that I chose was Mohawk’s everstrand carpet which is made using material from recycled plastic bottles. It looks and feels like high quality carpet but doesn’t have so much impact on the environment. It is so much more luxurious than the builder grade carpet that I had before and just adds to the feeling of luxury. It is one of the easiest carpets to keep clean too – something that is going to make me and my Windsor Palms home guests very happy!

  1. Indian Shores…

The best way to enjoy a great beach vacation is to rent a by owner property directly on the beach. My favorite area of Florida is the Indian Shores and Madeira Beach barrier islands off tampa…
