Florida Vacation Rentals

I spend a lot of time talking to people wanting to rent an Orlando holiday home. They all pretty much say the same thing to me - there is so much choice out there it is confusing! They know that renting an Orlando holiday home is a good choice, but get overwhelmed with choice once they start looking to find one.

So what is my advice? I think the best thing you can do is to have some firm ideas of what you want from your vacation home before you even start looking. Write down your ‘wish list’ and work out what is important to you. I spoke with a lady today who wanted a Disney Princess themed room. This is a great feature to have on a wish list ( yes of course my Orlando homes have them)! Others really want a house on one level, or with a spa, or 2 master bedrooms. What I am saying is that whatever is important to you should go on your vacation home wish list. Then you can start narrowing down your choice before you even begin looking.

You might want to think twice about sending out a general enquiry to lots of Orlando vacation homes too - yes you do get a lot of choice, but sometimes so much choice your inbox gives up and crashes! If you can, pick a short list of 5 homes and contact the owners. If these don’t work out then move on to the next 5 and so on.
