Florida Vacation Home Owner Confessions!
I am always thinking about the worries, concerns and wishes of my Florida vacation home guests. So when someone asked me recently how I could possibly rent out my Florida vacation homes to strangers, I started to think carefully about this one!
I am not sure how I answered this lady but after our chat was over I started to think about the answer. I realised that I do not rent my home to strangers. Yes, mostly my guests are people who I have never met personally. But over the years that I have owned Florida vacation homes I have come to know many of my guests very well. By the time someone knows they want to stay in one of my homes I think that they have come to know and trust me. They are trusting me with a very important part of their vacation! And you know what? I realised that to call them strangers would not be right. By the time they have booked one of my Orlando vacation homes they are trusted guests.

Alison I think you have hit the nail on the head with your reply! When I was stuck 6 days before our flights were leaving, I found that it was easy to trust what you told me about the villa, your professional yet friendly nature meant that I was under no illussion that the holiday villa my family and I were to be using for our vacation would be nothing short of special - and I was right. Please take it from me Alison’s vacation homes are really home from home, and everthing has been thought of, from coffee makers to playpens. Alison caters for her guests as I imagine she would wish to find a villa should she be renting one!!
